Number 4 in the Glenfiddich Experimental Series is the awesome Fire & Cane.
The nose is all smoke and peat with toffee apples.
The first taste is like sitting around a campfire eating toffos, the chewy sweet of the 1960’s and 70’s. Now I’m not a peat fan and there isn’t a lot of peat here, but there is peat smoke which gives way to the toffee and apples then vanilla and demerera sugar.
Very different IMHO from any other Glenfiddich.
