My colleague Chris gave me this as a present and a fine choice it was too!
It’s the 62nd batch of A’Bunadh from Aberlour and is a hefty 59.9% ABV. The nose gave me Christmas cake, cloves, cinnamon and chocolate and then more Christmas cake and dark chocolate on the palate with a definite taste of Soreen Malt Loaf!
The aftertaste was of figs and earthy overtones.
I always add water to my dram so the strength isn’t an issue which I think it may be if you are drinking it neat.
