A golden glow invites you to dive into this dram.
The nose has the sweetness of honey and the spice of nutmeg with lots of vanilla.
The palate is really smooth and reminiscent of Ambrosia custard with tinned peaches. There’s also a spicy kick of nutmeg and then the glorious finish of butterscotch Angel Delight.
The finish reminded me of Caramac as it’s long creamy, sweet and malted.
This is a really smooth and classy dram and not dissimilar to the aged Tamdhu’s.
