Tonight’s Dram de Jour is a bit special as it’s been matured in 6 different casks, Wine, Madeira, Sherry, Marsala, Port and Kentucky Bourbon giving it loads of flavour and masses of character.
The nose is malty, very malty, with sweet orange, chocolate, Scottish tablet and barley with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg.
The taste is spicy with orange and flavours of Grand Marnier and cherries.
The finish is long and smooth with toffee notes.
This is a masterpiece of a dram which I’d like to enjoy in front of a roaring fire with some dark chocolate on the side. Awesome.

Hi Scott, where did you get the whisky glass?
