The third batch of this 23 year old malt is a bit special. Matured in sherry and bourbon casks and bottled at 42.6% abv so it packs a kick.
The nose is honey, vanilla and candied citrus fruit.
The taste is much the same with a bit of spice and a hint of Christmas cake.
The finish is long and initially sharp but mellows with a hint of ripe banana.
