A single malt made with 80% peated and 20% unpeated malt which promises much but sadly fails to deliver, that said it has a nose reminiscent of a barbecue with honey and toffee
The palate is smokey with pear drops and a hint of peat and citrus overtones
The finish has honey and barley and more smoke
It’s an unsophisticated dram and lacking in real character but nice if you like a lightly peated malt
